Portland, OR – Taya MacLean, PWS has joined Parametrix as a senior scientist, based out of the firm’s Portland office. She has twenty years of natural resource management experience. MacLean is a registered Professional Wetland Scientist, is certified by the Oregon Department of Transportation to prepare endangered species effects assessments, and holds a Master of Science in Biology degree from California State University.
MacLean comes to Parametrix from AKS Engineering & Forestry, LLC where she served as a senior biologist, conducting wetland delineations, ordinary high water mark delineations, rare plant surveys, habitat assessments, and avian and wildlife monitoring. She is also experienced in preparing wetland delineation reports, natural resource assessments, critical area assessment reports, mitigation plans and monitoring, and Section 404/10 removal/fill permit applications.
At Parametrix, MacLean will serve as the Oregon Natural Resources Group Lead, providing environmental services to both public and private clients in Oregon and Southwest Washington.
