Puyallup, WA – Craig Buitrago, PE has returned to Parametrix as a Senior Consultant. He has over 18 years of experience as a surface water engineer and project manager focused on stormwater and streams.
He comes to Parametrix from PBS Engineering and Environmental Inc., where he served as the Water Resources Practice Lead and Senior Engineer. Prior to that, he was with Parametrix from 2006 to 2021. His expertise includes hydrology and hydraulics for stormwater management and stream design projects, stormwater planning and capital improvement plan development, stormwater conveyance and treatment facility design, retrofit and green infrastructure design, and fish passage and stream restoration design.
His recent project experience includes stream design work on Washington State Department of Transportation fish passage projects at I-405/132nd Street and I-90/SR18 as well as similar projects for the cities of Tumwater, Maple Valley, and Sammamish.
At Parametrix, he joins the firm’s Greater Washington Environmental Planning and Compliance team serving public agencies and private clients throughout the Pacific Northwest.
