Eugene, OR – Josh Proudfoot, Director of Climate Change and Resiliency at Parametrix, has been appointed to serve on the Oregon Sustainability Board through 2027.
The Board, formed in 2001, “encourages activities that best sustain, protect and enhance the environment, economy and community for the present and future benefit of Oregonians.” Members are appointed by the Governor and represent a variety of stakeholders. They meet quarterly to oversee, review, and approve sustainability plans developed by state agencies.
Proudfoot has over 20 years of experience in climate and sustainability consulting. He founded Good Company, a research and management consulting firm that was acquired by Parametrix in January 2023. Today, the firm operates as a Division of Parametrix, helping government agencies and private industrial clients measure, manage and market their financial, environmental and social performance.
“It’s a great honor to serve the people of Oregon in ever better management of the public and greater good. I look forward to helping our agencies navigate a rapidly changing environment for economic development, social equity and mitigating and adapting to climate change,” said Proudfoot.
