Parametrix Adds Three Environmental Professionals in Northwest


Amber Bailey; Shira DeGrood, RG; and Ingrid Kimball, PWS have joined Parametrix as Senior Scientists. The three bring over 40 years of experience to the firm’s Northwest Environmental Planning and Compliance team.

Amber-BaileyAmber Bailey has over a decade of project management and technical experience in environmental compliance, including regulatory compliance management and support for oil spill prevention, Industrial Stormwater General Permit compliance, and dangerous and hazardous waste management. She comes to Parametrix from Boeing and was previously with Farallon Consulting, LLC. Amber’s experience includes technical report writing; Washington State annual dangerous waste reporting; Emergency Planning; Community Right-to-Know Act reporting; and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan and Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure Plan evaluation, preparation, and compliance. She joins the firm’s Environmental Planning and Compliance team in Seattle, WA.



Shira DegroodShira DeGrood, RG has nearly two decades of technical and project management experience in contaminated site assessment and remediation for soil, groundwater, and sediment projects. She comes to Parametrix from AECOM and brings technical expertise in site characterization, remedial and source control actions, contaminant fate, transport assessments and associated risk-based conceptual site model development, and technical allocation for complex sediment superfund sites. Her experience includes work with regulatory oversight by the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, Washington Department of Ecology, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and California Department of Toxic Substances Control. Shira joins the firm’s Environmental Planning and Compliance team in Portland, OR.




Ingrid Kimball, PWS has over 16 years of experience in the environmental sector. She comes to Parametrix from ICF and has extensive experience in permit preparation and procurement for in-water work including Section 401/404 of the Clean Water Act, Hydraulic Project Approval, and Critical Areas Ordinances. Ingrid is a project manager and technical author of preliminary jurisdictional determinations, environmental impact statements, environmental assessments, biological evaluations, and critical habitat reports. She joins the firm’s Environmental Planning and Compliance team in Seattle, WA.
