Parametrix Adds Two Planners in Nevada

Two transportation planners have joined Parametrix, bringing over 30 years of experience to the firm’s Nevada Transportation team.

Anita Richardson Frijia, AICP is a Senior Planner with 24 years of experience. She comes to Parametrix from AECOM where she served as a Senior Environmental Planner. Anita specializes in social and economic resources, environmental justice, visual resource analysis, and geographic information systems. Her project experience includes work for the Federal Highway Administration, United States Army Corps of Engineers, and Arizona and Texas Departments of Transportation. Recently she served as Environmental Lead and Deputy Project Manager for the Interstate-11 Corridor Study Tier 1 Environmental Impact Statement.

Jillian Emery is a Planner with nearly 10 years of experience working for the State of Nevada and Nevada Department of Transportation. Her experience includes strategic planning and grants management at the federal, state, regional, and local levels. She recently acted as the Assistant Chief of Program Development for the Nevada Department of Transportation, managing the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program, Work Program, One Nevada Long Range Transportation Plan, and the Freight Program. Prior to that she was part of the Rural Transit planning team.

Anita and Jillian join our Nevada Transportation group, which provides planning, engineering, visualization, and grant writing services to public agencies throughout Nevada and the Southwest region.
